Collaborating

How do we collaborate with you (Shepherdless), or one of the other brands in your store?

Open tab

It's really simple. Contact us with your collaboration idea(s) and let's chat.

Collaboration is a broad term. What's your definition of it?

Open tab

An important thing to say up front is that anything is possible when it comes to collaborating.

This might sound exciting to some people. And, terrifying to others. So, for anyone who hasn't collaborated with another brand before, our definition is - Two brands are better than one.

Here's six reasons why:

1. First up - We don't think either side should shy away from talking about what you both get out of this. Both parties are meant to benefit from a collaboration. So, there's no reason to have a secret agenda. Be upfront and then help each other achieve whatever you've discussed. Collaborating is not a one-sided relationship.

2. We like to get out of our comfort zone. Or, get a fresh take on things. So, be open with any conversation you have. Hearing another person's take on what you've done to date. And where, in their opinion, you could make improvements or do something new is priceless.

3. You can branch out into an 'area' that you've been struggling to get into. Or, maybe your first attempts have fallen short of expectations - for you and your customers. Nothing like partnering with a well-established brand that can help you level up!

4. Level up - Period!!! Some brands need a little bit of 'additional' help to be seen. Piggy backing off someone more established will 100% help get more eyes on you and validate your existence in the global marketplace. Just make sure you're bringing something to the party that will help them too. No one likes a freeloader, right.

5.Exposure doubles. From both your respective websites to your social media channels. Followers get introduced to another brand and a new audience. It's like getting an invite to a friend of a friend's party. You trust the alignment of social circles. And, know that this is one party not to miss.

6. Share the workload. Yes, you now have a partner in crime to help you make magic (magic = a new product, new marketing materials, and much, much more). However you divvy up the to-do list, make sure each party feels like the split is fair.

Can I feature a product or prototype in your store?

Open tab

In theory yes. But, please note - There is a screening process to ensure that we're working alongside like-minded souls and companies that are above board.

Also, as you'll have seen, our store has an aesthetic that we work hard to maintain. So, there's a good chance that we'll ask you to send us whatever you're looking to have featured. Our in-house design team will then photograph everything and take care of any other additional steps needed to make this look fabulous in our store. There are no fees attached to this. And, of course, we'd discuss everything that we're proposing to do at length with you first.

If neither of these two things concern you, great! Contact us and let's get the ball rolling.

Do you help with samples or prototypes?

Open tab

Yes! We'll help in whatever way we can.

And, if we can't help. There's a good chance we know someone who can.

Let us know what you're trying to create here.

Do you offer general advice or consultation?

Our door is always open and we love to help.

So, shoot us a note and let's talk.
